FEMA's Outreach Materials for Local Officials contains resources you can use to effectively describe the process and its effect on your constituents. Items can be used for presentations to property owners and stakeholder groups at local and regional events to help educate members of your community about the mapping process. Also, series of media materials - including press advisories, releases and backgrounders will prove invaluable as you inform local press outlets about the implications of the upcoming map changes.
DATUMS & BENCHMARKS used in the mapping process can be retrieved by state, then county, from the National Geodetic Survey (NGS).
